I recently planned a graduation party for my oldest daughter who didn’t want traditional black or her school colors (red/black/white) used for party decor. Something lighter and prettier definitely suited her personality more. I was searching for alternate graduation party decorations that didn’t involve black when I came across this cute Groovy Grad set from Big Dot of Happiness. I instantly knew this would be the perfect theme for her graduation party! The colors were perfect and she absolutely loves 70s music and culture. My oldest daughter recently graduated from high school, and when discussing party themes, she chose Groovy Grad. We would have lots of out of town family visiting for the party and graduation, so I needed some ideas I could prep in the weeks leading up to the party. I decided to make some custom chip bags to match.

I love making these under the sea gummy candy kabobs! They are perfect party favors, or fun snacks at school! I’ve made candy kabobs at my daughters under the sea party, a luau party and for my her class on habitat day. You can make your own gummies with silicone molds and jello or store bought to fit many party themes

We spent a week in Grand Cayman doing lots of snorkeling before my daughter’s 7th birthday, so when I asked her what theme she would like for her party, she choose Under the Sea.
