The Best Beach Shade - Super Easy Setup Lightweight Canopy!

I sewed my own canopy after seeing a picture my husband shared with me of a style he wanted. Most of my sewing projects are for my kids, and I was happy to use my sewing skills to make something for my husband, for once. At the time he showed me the picture, I didn't know anything about the company that made the beach canopy he showed me. I wasn't aware the company had several utility and design patents, and I wasn't aware that patents prohibit reproducing a product, even for personal use.

Star Wars Birthday Party - May the FOURce be with you!

 I asked if she wanted a princess party. She responded, “Only a Princess Leia party!” It was her 4th birthday, we called it “May the FOURce be with you”. I printed my own decorations, made lots of Star Wars-themed food, built a Jedi training course, and planned some Star Wars activities. This was a fun DIY party!

I recently planned a graduation party for my oldest daughter who didn’t want traditional black or her school colors (red/black/white) used for party decor. Something lighter and prettier definitely suited her personality more. I was searching for alternate graduation party decorations that didn’t involve black when I came across this cute Groovy Grad set from Big Dot of Happiness. I instantly knew this would be the perfect theme for her graduation party! The colors were perfect and she absolutely loves 70s music and culture. Making Coral Reef Backdrop for Under the Sea Party Photobooth

I love having a photo booth at every party I host! When I have one, I am reminded to get at least one picture of every guest, and it is nice to have a pretty backdrop for pictures.
