The kindergarten classes at my daughters school have Habitat day. Each of the 12 kindergarten classes are assigned a different habitat and each student is assigned an animal from their classes habitat. The kids have to research their animal, write a paper, dress up as their animal and then give a presentation to all the other kindergarten classes. My daughter brought home a paper with her assigned animal, Sea Anemone! Yikes! The Best Beach Shade - Super Easy Setup Lightweight Canopy!

I sewed my own canopy after seeing a picture my husband shared with me of a style he wanted. Most of my sewing projects are for my kids, and I was happy to use my sewing skills to make something for my husband, for once. At the time he showed me the picture, I didn't know anything about the company that made the beach canopy he showed me. I wasn't aware the company had several utility and design patents, and I wasn't aware that patents prohibit reproducing a product, even for personal use.

How to make Ruffle Crepe Paper Streamers

Ruffle Crepe paper streamers are one of my favorite easy DIY party decorations! They are quick and easy to make and very inexpensive. You can make them in any color or combination of colors. For my daughter’s recent Luau party, I used 2 shades of green to make them and used them for a photo booth backdrop and some extras to decorate my DIY Tiki piñata and DIY tiki buckets.
